Professor of Chemistry, California State University, Long Beach—Research in organic chemistry related to the development of organosulfur-nitrogen alkylating agents. Served for 20 Years on College of Natural Sciences and Chemistry Department safety committees, and as department safety committee chair. Taught courses in general, organic and physical organic chemistry. Promoted to professor in 1984. Emeritus professor in 2011.
